I think at first I felt like I was at bit apprehensive about undertaking this project  as we were working with a group of people we didn’t know , but most importantly I didn’t want to let them down both in term of there grade and ultimately the final product. But on the hole , everyone is very happy with the final finished product.

One of the biggest things that comes to to mind with partaking in this project it the amount of time we have spent on it , in terms of location recording , Post production (ADR etc) and the final mix.It the most time and effort we as a group have put in to a project thus far.

I think the our collaboration with the single cam group has been excellent bot in terms of communication and organisation as this was crucial as we are a relatively large group (7 persons , with as many as 12 people on set when recording) The main way in which our are collaboration was great was because of the constructive criticism we were able to take on board, for example we would make some music for a particular scene and then ask “is this what your looking for? Please tell us straight up if not…….” . This saved us a lot of time and as a result made the end product much better.

I think in most cases with this type of production , constructive criticism is crucial for a product like this to succeed.

If I there is one thing with which I could improve on it would be the ADR , main due to the time constraints we had with some of the actors.Also has we had to do the ADR prior to the picture lock , some of the shots had changed and so some of the ADR didn’t quite fit , but nothing too noticeable.

Also from completing this project , I feel a lot more confident with location recording with regards to how the camera records audio , gains , sample rates and mainly the understanding the filming style , whether it would be a single or a 2 shot , and how the audio from 2 single shots go together to make one continuous scene.

I think overall I am extremely happy that I decided to join this project , it was a fantastic thing to be apart of and we have a great video to show off to friends and family.
